My background

Shera and Co is a consulting firm I created in 2023.
I have worked in different industries for nearly 20 years.

My career is built around three major chapters:

the financial and retail sector,
plastics manufacturing (mainly for the automotive industry),
renewable energy.

For nearly 10 years, I have been contributing to the renewable energy sector — and more specifically to hydrogen, a field that is complex in every possible way.

I am an outlier, and I fully embrace it.
I entered the industrial world without the usual training or prerequisites. With an academic background in marketing, I would never have imagined joining such a technical environment. But through perseverance, countless hours of learning and full dedication, I managed to meet the challenges and develop my expertise.

A rich and diverse international experience

For more than 15 years, I travelled extensively around the world to negotiate contracts.

This includes collaborations with:

Renault and PSA headquarters in France,
Ford and Kia Europe in Germany,
State-owned companies in the Middle East.

In recent years, I have worked with groups such as:

Repsol in Spain (hydrogen project in a petrochemical plant),
public companies like SWDE.

And also with more unusual players in very different environments, such as:

ZIZ in Chad.

I have travelled across almost two-thirds of Africa — a continent to which I remain deeply attached.

The creation of Shera & Co

In 2023, after several highly rewarding years at John Cockerill — first within their emerging Storage division and later in their Hydrogen division — I came to the conclusion that I needed to put my experience and achievements at the service of others and take the leap into independence.

A Scandinavian company then approached me, asking me to take charge of their newly created Belgian subsidiary for six months to help them recover from an already well-established crisis. This opportunity convinced me entirely, and I decided to take the step.

I renegotiated the sale of electric buses with De Lijn, relaunched the first delivery schedule, set up their warehouse near Antwerp for bus parts storage and battery repair (CATL group), while initiating the foundations of their stationary battery sales strategy.

Today, I am back in the hydrogen sector, helping bring to life factories and stations — including some that I had previously helped sell.

My vision

I am passionate about helping a team get back on track, deliver results and regain a fulfilled mindset. For me, both are inseparable, even in a world that often prioritises results alone due to very short-term thinking.

Shera and Co is built on this principle: (re)deploying an industrial activity or project, managing internal crises to restore momentum and internal alignment.

I am often struck by the number of companies where the entrepreneurial spirit and the organisation’s own history have disappeared from daily life and no longer serve as guiding forces. Some companies go from storm to storm without questioning why. Shera and Co exists to address exactly that.

Privately, I am a happy husband and a former basketball player who traded his jersey for a coach’s polo.
